Synopsis
in a Sentence: A lady is
haunted by ghosts who convince her to do things for them, which leads her to a
man who can stop her from seeing them, so she should stick to him like glue,
right?
On Writing: The Plot
It’s
quite a new outlook—horror meets comedy meets romance. Still, that’s shrouded
in typical theme: rich, cold, capable guy ‘mistakenly’ falls for poor,
helpless, pitiful woman. What’s different here is that there’s a bit of character
growth as this plays out, but are we surprised about this, especially as the
story’s crafted by the talented Hong Sisters who have produced shows like “My
Girl” and “You’re Beautiful.” It receives marks for offering something new to
the screen.

On Acting: The Cast
Can I just rave and rove about Kim Mi-Kyung, wonder-lady and
actress extrodinaire! For some wonderful reason I’ve seen her in three
consecutive dramas in which she plays very opposing roles. In this one, she’s
the snotty mother-in-law (or something like that well aunt,) in any case; she
plays the patronizing represented of rich chaebol family who is opposed to the
union of the poor, pitiful woman and the rich, handsome man. And she plays it
well. The comedic scenes are also well played out! Shout out to Kim Mi-Kyung!
Kong Hyo-Jin plays the female lead, and does so quite well. She transitions into the
growth of her character quite well and carries us through the series. She keeps
us interested, which is no easy feat. But do we fall in love with her at the
end of it all?
So Ji-Sub plays male lead, and we’re hooked on his mannerisms by the end of the
show. Quite fun! Well done!
And
we love the uncle of the male lead, played by Choi Jung-Woo! He’s everything we want him to be. Top praise goes
to his character in this series!

The Creativity
Production is good, it’s
really good! Asia, can we say, specialises in producing horror, and the fusion
of that with comedy is great in this one! Great job!

Resolution: The Conclusion
The
resolution of the story… is quite good actually, it’s well done. Issues are
wrapped up, it’s not predictable and mundane, and we’re quite satisfied with
the outcome. Time well spent, a story well ended!
